Here was the problem, despite Samsung Galaxy is the largest Android based device, Eclipse by the default did not included it as option on his emulator in AVD Manager. Hence, I could not add this device as emulator device. The problem is that Samsung SDK is not available as default SDK Add-on in Eclipse. Here you could see the snapshot of Eclipse’s SDK Manager. As you can see, Samsung Galaxy is nowhere to be found.
After some googling, some suggest to add Samsung Galaxy’s SDK repository address manually. Open “User Defined Sites” tab, then, click “new” and paste address “http://innovator.samsungmobile.com/android/repository/repository.xml” as shown in the figure.
However, SDK Manager seems could not parse let alone to be parsed. See snapshot below.
I don’t know what the problem is, but looks like the process stop in fetching.
So, again I googled another way to do it.
It was in one of Samsung Developer’s web page (http://developer.samsung.com/android/tools-sdks/Samsung-GALAXY-Tab-Emulator)
As instructed, I download the file, extract, and copy into Android SDK Add-on directory. In case of my PC (Win7), the directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\add-ons\
And voila, Samsung Galaxy SDK and Emulator is available.
Hope this help whoever is needed.

That’s why I need to add Samsung Galaxy Add-ons manually.
Details like this matter and some others (i.e. Samsung support for decent PC suite SW “Kies”) are why I hate Samsung Galaxy.

in case you really wanted to, but testing will be very difficult.
Under “Extras” you’ll see “GALAXY Tab by Samsung …”, and more than likely a broken icon beside the listing. The download link and folder name finishes with 8 – the API level required: Android 2.2. Install that bundle and you’re right to go.

doesn’t seem to work for me. Extracted folder to correct place, but no new entries have appeared in the dropdown list. (I’ve restarted AVD too)
Did not work for me either. Android SDK Manager stated it was broken and could not be used after adding it.
Adding add-on site http://developer.samsung.com/technical-doc/view.do?v=T000000182 was also not what was needed.
This didn’t work for me the first time untill I added the Android 2.2 (API 8) in the SDK Manager
